Our Mission
Lamar Baptist Church is a multi-ethnic fellowship of praise and worship, serving God and our community in an atmosphere where all people are valuable, regardless of ethnic or cultural background. It is our goal to help people connect to God through a personal relationship with Christ, grow in their relationship and knowledge of Christ and serve as we create opportunities for service in the church and in our community. Our members are involved in a variety of ministries designed to meet the needs of younger families with small children as well as teenagers, young adults, middle adults, and senior members. While Lamar is an autonomous body of believers, it is affiliated with the Wichita-Archer-Clay Baptist Association, the Baptist General Convention of Texas, the Southern Baptists of Texas Convention, and the Southern Baptist Convention.
Our Vision
Lamar Baptist Church exists to glorify God in all we say and do. We accomplish this through praise and worship, sharing the gospel with lost people, and meeting the needs of hurting people.
