Tommy and his wife Linda have been at Lamar since March 2013.
He has served churches in Oklahoma and Texas.
He received his Bachelor of Science from Abilene Christian University and attended the University of Texas at Dallas and the Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in Fort Worth.
Tommy and Linda have two children, Stephen Free and Kimberly Southard, and 5 grandchildren.
Carlos has been at Lamar Baptist since March 2013 and oversees the Hispanic Ministry. Each week Carlos leads worship services and bible study in Spanish.
He and his wife Carmen have three children, Ivan, Kevin, and Karla.
Josh joined the team at Lamar in August of 2016. He and his wife Laura have 3 children, Anna, Kirby, and Kay.
Josh has served in churches throughout West Texas and the Panhandle.
Josh studied Music Education at Angelo State University and Percussion Performance at West Texas A&M University. He has had the privilege to perform with the San Angelo Symphony Orchestra and the Amarillo Symphony Orchestra, as well as many other venues and with many other styles.
Jerry and Karen have been at Lamar since May 2014.
Jerry and Karen both served at Shiloh Baptist church (Wichita Falls, TX) in many areas. Karen served as the Church Clerk, Acteens Leader, Assistant Sunday School Secretary, Vacation Bible School Director and Youth Director for many years. Jerry served as an RA leader, Sunday School Teacher, member of the Finance Committee and Associate Minister.
Jerry received his Bachelor of Science from Wayland Baptist University and is currently enrolled in Seminary Extension Level Two Curriculum. He is a retired member of the U.S. Air Force. He was Ordained as a Deacon in 2005 and Accepted the call to the ministry and licensed in 2010.
Jerry and Karen have five children, and 9 grandchildren.
Denise and her husband Woody have been at Lamar since March of 2013.
Denise has been working with and organizing Vacation Bible Schools since 1998. She has taught Sunday School for various ages of children, directed Girls in Action for 10+ years, and has been spearheading the Children’s Ministry at Lamar since 2013.
Denise and Woody have four children and are life-long residents of North Texas. Prior to retirement, Denise spent 30+ years working for the District Attorney’s office.
Vicky has been at Lamar since August 2015. She and her husband Ronnie care for their 5 year old grandson and 5 dogs.
Vicky attended Midwestern State University and received her Bachelor's of Science in Psychology and a Master of Arts in Counseling.
Vicky has responsibility for the financial and administrative activity at Lamar.
